Bill has public and private sector experience in property, planning, urban design and architecture. His work includes infrastructure, public space, the architecture of large commercial and residential buildings; and, one-off buildings. He advises private and government clients.

Projects vary from identifying and describing development opportunities for single sites and buildings; to redevelopment of ‘brownfield’ and ‘greenfield’ sites; to the making of public spaces; and, planning that originates in physical design considerations (rather than simplistic, 2-dimensional statutory planning). His work is characterized by a clear understanding of the elemental relationships between different components of urbanised areas. He configures them to shape a better outcome, rather than a pursue a pre-conceived, aesthetic solution.
